Surfing Waves

I live in the US (South Carolina).... i took lessons and i got up riding waves probably on my 10th try, and i've rode everyone since.... i used one of their boards and it was a 7'2" longboard... which i easily rode waves with considering we don't have that big of waves here, just mushy ones.... anyways i wanna know what kinda board i should get, size and all..... please give some advice... also consider that i just won't be surfing in south carolina all the time, i'll be going to florida and california and stuff... please give some useful info THANKS

hi u should get something between 6'0'' or 6'10'' with a rounded square tail about 18-19 inches wide
