I'm looking to get my first board and I've got a buddy willing to sell me his 7'6". Wondering if anyone thinks that's too small cuz it's finally something in my price range and it's in good shape.

I guess it wood depend on what kind of board it is. Is it more like a potato chip style thin short board, or a nice wide thick fun shape board.

I can tell you, that the bigger board you start out with, the quicker your gonna be having a good time.

if its a funboard, quite thick and rounded, then it will be great for learning, i wouldnt go any smaller tho

What might you consider wide enough and thick enough?

wide enough is around 20"-22", thick enough is around 2 1/2"-3"
