Surfing Waves

I was at uppers (trestles) recently and stepped on a big tar ball with my booties on, is there any easier way to remove it other than scraping it?

Surf enough and it will come out eventually. Last year when we had that oil spill in HB, it came all the way down to San Diego and I got it all over my wetsuit, boots and board.

Mineral oil is the best for getting tar out. Then you will need dawn dish detergent to remove the oil.
