I recently just picked up a CI Flyer and I love it. So much better than the board that I learned on. Very pleased with how it performs in waves from 1-5ft so far.

I'd recommend one that is the right size and shape for you!

It depends on so many things though - how confident you are, what kind of waves you'll be riding, what kind of surfing you want to do, how big you are etc!!

Go to a shop and feel some boards, you'll find the one that feels right - far better than anyone recommending a shaper or brand.

Cheers
