Rusty Dwart size for the hesh?

Hey everyone!
so here it is.
49 year old kid.
decent shape. not great but decent.
6' tall 195 lbs
decent surfer. not great but decent.
Live in San Diego and surf all the different spots and conditions. From waist high to maybe a lil overhead when Im feeling frothy.
I currently surf a 6'4-22-2.75 (about 41 liters) fish, and a 6'2"-21.-2.75( about 40 liters) EPS twin mod type thing.
I like them both but have to admit I miss waves often on both. mostly on difficult days/ mixed up chop.
On clean days like nice glass mornings with chest to shoulder waves I love them. Wave count goes way up.
I am about to buy a Rusty Dwart or maybe a Hatchet. Or something similar. probably EPS
Here is the question! I am planning on stepping up to like a 6'7" or 6'8" going up to around 46 or 47 liters. So will stepping up this far make all my dreams come true and have perfect sessions always?? Ha ha just joking. I just want my wave count up but dont want to go too far and end up with something too big. Like I said Im a 49 year old average decent surfer. Not looking to go vertical and smash airs. Just make harder sections carve and have fun.
My main two surfing buddies are 150 lb freaks of nature who still rip on tiny boards at our age so I cant ask them.
BTW I also have a 7'6" funshape that I dont mind dropping in to slightly more consequential waves with. So Im not scared of bigger boards. So go with the larger Dwart or what?
thanks!
