NSP 7’2 funboard vs BIC 7’3 Mini Malibu

I’ve been surfing for about 6 months consistently and want to buy a new board. I can stand up fine but that’s about it, no tricks or anything.

I’ve previously used both BICs and NSPs, and much preferred the NSP but I don’t know if that was due to the different sizes of the boards, because the BIC was a lot smaller.

Would you say the NSP 7’2 is a better one to go for? Or the BIC 7’3? I’m stuck!

Thank you!!!

There is little difference between the two boards you have mentioned; if those are your choices then whichever you prefer (colour or whatever!). They are 1 inch different in length and 1/4 inch in width; barely noticeable even to a good surfer (let alone an advanced beginner)

But its probably more important to ask whether those two boards are the two boards you should be choosing from - what have you surfed before (size), how did you find those boards to use, whats your height/weight, how often do you surf?

If you are only going straight in the white water, then I would not go for either board. You shouldn't be going anywhere near a 7'6" if you can't bottom turn and trim across the waves face consistently.
