Catch Surf

Postby stenty » Wed Nov 07, 2018 9:22 pm

Hi there
I'm thinking of getting a catch surf 6'0 log. I currently have a 6'10 shortboard but I really struggle to catch waves and want something that can catch waves more easily and smaller waves. I'm wondering if although this board is shorter than what I have it has a wider shape and tones more volume would it be better? or should I get the 7'0 log instead to ensure I catch more waves? I'd rather get the shorter for its sharper turning but will it be no better than what I have?
Thanks
Charlie

1) You can not turn if you first can not even catch the wave.
2) What size/type board did you ride before the 6'10" shortboard ?
3) Who told you a shorter board will turn sharper ? and turn sharper on smaller waves ?
