Advice needed for next board

Hey guys I’m looking to move to a funboard since I want to start moving toward a short board as I am currently riding a wavestorm. I am a skinny guy at 5’ 8” and 125 lbs and live in Orange County so I will be surfing mostly beach breaks. There are two boards I am looking at currently and the big difference that I can see is one is single fin and the other a thruster. What do you guys think is the better choice?
Here are the two boards:

I was also wondering if it would be viable to move up to a longboard and take it from there. I’m really just looking for a board I can progress on and take out on a wide range of wave sizes. Thanks in advance! :D

Sizing on the round nosed boards is probably ok but both have a lot of water damage and I think will be more trouble than they are worth......literally. If they were free it would be one thing but don’t give money for those....hit LS out for something in a little better condition.

I like the craigslist board over the other two.

It is YOU, NOT THE BOARD that will need to be able to ride a wide range of wave sizes. As you increase in your surfing technique and wave knowledge, you will be more able to turn and control ( speed up and slow down ) more and more different type of boards. But for now, if you want to progress, move from a hard board 8'0", then 7'6"ish ( 7'10" - 7'6" ) funboard, 7'0" ish ( 7'5" 7'2" ) hybrids and 6'6"ish big fishes.
