Advice please

Hi all,
Willing to buy my first board. Sorry yes another one!
Heard BIC are good for a first board and I should look at the volume mainly/not decreasing the length of the board too quickly.
So here are the 2 boards that I am hesitating with: the BIC 7'9 minimal 58L or the BIC 7'6 mini nose rider 62L.
Not 100% sure of the term "mini nose rider" to be honest but feel like this is the one I should go for due to the higher volume. This is an expensive decision so would like to be sure I don't end up with a board too unstable to take off.
I'm 5'5 for 68kg - I take off most of the time and work on turning with the waves basically. Feel frustrating with the heavy 8' foamboard.
Some of the 7'6 I have tried felt unstable to take off (not impossible just harder) some didn't (I guess due to volume).
The BIC range seemed within my budget but open with any other brands.
Any advice/suggestions please.
Thank you,
