Definately buy it, because based on the thorough information you've given us in this thread, that's the only conclusion that can be drawn.

1) How big is it compared to your other shortboard that you ride ?
2) Does it come with fins ? ( that's another $40 ish )

Sorry if I gave the wrong idea. My question actually was whether the board condition is decent enough to be bought for 185 usd. There seems to be a repaired crease tho.

@waikikikichan its very similar to my other shortboard, just a bit lower volume. But my question really is if the board condition is reasonable for 185 usd.

I don't see a repaired crease. I see some pressure dings/some possibly repaired dings, but it's hard to really tell.
The board still has wax on it. Ask the seller to strip the wax off (standard practice [or should be] when selling a board). If you can't really examine a board and you're worried about the cost, then don't buy it until you can see all of its flaws.

I think if I were buying a used board I'd want one without a major repair job. Since I don't know enough about ding repair and the effects of repair jobs on the performance of a board, I'd push for a severe discount. I'd offer $75 and kind of hope it was declined, but that's just me. I don't throw much money at things I don't understand well. A more experienced surfer might find it a steal at $175. Nevertheless, I'd be willing to take the risk of letting this one get away.

If that’s a picture of the bottom, looks like he got ran by a skeg, not a crease. So that would make me less worried of the whole deck buckling.
Thing is, we can’t see anymore than you can. You can find how much a new Chili goes for in the shop, divide by 2 to get a “good” used board price, divide that again to get what a shop would offer you or for a beaten up board. Where does that board for $185 land ?

@Waikikichan Are u the left or right dude? hahaha. Also I've calculated and its 161 USD. The seller told me that the blue area was slight crease (I am more inclined to believe u as I'm sure u have more experience than him) that was repaired well and it is a 3rd hand board...The repair was already there when he got it 0.0 If you were in my shoes would u get it? Thanks

If it was me, I wouldn’t get it, because I don’t short board. But I used to sell and repair them. Don’t think you’ll find a board priced like that in a shop. But a surfboard is just a tool. You use it, it breaks or gets worn down, you get another one. You’re reaching for some sort of validation ( from somebody, anybody ) that your purchase will be good and rip. It’s just a board, if you don’t like it, sell it and get something else.
And again, does the board come with fins ? If not, do you have an extra set of Futures fins ?

I'd get it only if I really want it and it's dirt cheap. $165usd for a short board with that kind of ding is not much of a bargain. Also I have a feeling you'd have trouble selling it if you don't like it because unlike longboards or eps boards, the performance of poly short boards is more affected by the age and the wear of the board. In addition to that, when the price is on a lower side, say less than $200, the sellers tend to "forget" about other minor dings that still need to be fixed.

At a retail surfshop, a board from a well known shaper in that condition (from what we can see in only two photos) would go for more than $161 usd.

Dude, i understand you have a UN-way with words, so it's not clear what you really mean. "Mint condition" refers to coins that were freshly minted. For other items ( baseball cards, barbie dolls, etc. ) like fresh off the press, right out of the factory, unused, unblemished, brand new untouched. So if you want "mint", you need to buy it from the shop. If you want "like new", "excellent condition" then maybe you can get it less 10-20% off full retail. But why would it be "ridden once" or "hardly used" ?
1) the buyer was a motorcycle freestyle stunt rider or semi-pro skateboarder who thought he could shortboard, but re-sold it after he had to be rescued by lifeguards.
2) the board doesn't work right ( or that's what they think )
So maybe you can find a deal, but the board you're looking at had two previous owners....... hmmmm ?
For pricing, I already lay it out for you, but I'll try again.
$600-675 new
$300-400 used in a shop, or 2nd's ( in the Chili website list them )
$150-200 used on craigslist, auction, or beat up board in a shop
Where would "lightly used" fall ? of course between new and used used.
Do the math, this isn't your first board. Right ?

Hey guys, I just have a habit of asking a sh*t ton of questions before busting my wallet. And no, I'm not new to surfing. Since I can seek advice from fu*kin legends here then why not huh? Anyways, I managed to bargain and brought her home for $155 USD. Brand new is $675 USD This will be my step-down board. Low-key happy. My man had like at least 30 boards at his crib LMAO. What yall think?
