Hi!
Since i bought my Tomo Evo my greedy beaver has been collecting dust and i dont wanna sell it. I talked with the local shaper were i live and asked what he thinks about putting a us-box on it and he said it would work fine, Its a 6.6 timbertek!
What do you guys think?
I fell that the Greedy beaver is in the same range as my evo in some ways, at least wavecathing wise and i cant figure out when to use it.

Why ruin a good board? Bottom contour and shape are designed with the current boxes. I would either keep it or sell it then buy a single fin if that is what you're after. I'd personally only refit the boxes if the board was a beater and If it surfed poorly afterward I wouldn't care too much.
On top of that I wouldn't be too keen to cut into that timbertek; probably will weaken the overall board structure and don't know how strong the single box installation will be/how much stress it will be able to take. It my guess is not enough.

So by putting a single fin into the Greedy Beaver, you figure you will use it more ?

Agree with Big H. All of us buy boards and then buy other boards and then don't surf them all. If you think it will sit unsurfed for a few years then just sell it. Or if you think you might go back to it in a few years then store. I have a longboard I don't use much but it's in good condition and I will go back to it when I'm older and decrepit...(a year or two probably). But otherwise I just sell unused boards
Don't modify them and mess them up. I mean you can experiment of course - so long as you don't mind the potential consequences
