I need some advice from some advanced surfers, I want to get a surfboard I'm still a beginner, but I seem to be catching on pretty quick and I want to get a lot better, I want to be a shortboarder (cuz all those cool tricks hehe)but I'm kinda lost at what kind of board and size I should get. I'm 5 ft 2 3/4" (on a good day) and 120 pounds. And I plan to surf often so if you can help that would be awesome

Well, since you're still a beginner, i highly recommend a board around 7'2" for you due to your hieght.. Maybe the board can be shorter.. Funboards are great to learn on. Its good to rent boards first to see which boards suit your ability. But just because you catch on quick doesn't mean you can go for shortboarding that fast. If you get a shortboard and you're a beginner, good luck, you're gonna be so frustrated and struggle.
