Will this board work for me?

I am looking to get a used surfboard, at the moment I am riding a 5 10 swallow tail twin fin. I saw this board on Craigslist it seems a little beat up and is priced at $325. The specifications are 5'4" X 19 3/8 X 2 7/16 -- 5 Fin. My height is 5'9" and I weigh 140 pounds, do you think this board could suit me, or is it a little small? Also what do you think of the price is it fair? Thanks!

Seriously though....why do you want a new board?

I like a new board as much as the next guy.....just asking....what conditions do you want to use the board in? Is there a hole in your quiver that you are looking to fill? As far as the board goes, how many liters do you need in a board? Have you ridden a board of a similar design and size and how did that work for you? If the board you have is the only board you have and you are looking to replace your one board quiver, what do you want from the new board that would be an improvement over the board you're on now?

How well do you surf now? If you're on a fat fish and going to go to something that is thinner, smaller and shorter and are still in the learning stages, going smaller isn't going to do you much good.

....on top of everything the seller is a dreamer. That board is worth about half that. My guess is that the seller is a kid who is looking to get as much as they can from the sale since outside of Daddy's handouts is going to be their only income this summer.

I would ask myself what I wanted from a new board that my current board isn't doing, then shop to address that. A twin fin isn't the best all arounder if that is your only board so I can't blame you for looking around, just don't buy this one.

At the very least I think it's overpriced for the condition.
