Softboard recommendations

Hello
I have just discovered surfing at age 30, I have had afew lessons and am keen to get own board so I can get out and practice! I am a total beginner, can stand up for afew seconds but not consistently, also still not the best at paddling into the waves, so I am looking for a foamie, also for safety reasons as I go surfing with my 9 year old who is learning too.
I am 70kg at my heaviest and 5ft 3, I struggle to carry a 9ft so would prefer a strong 8ft!
I was looking for recommendations of a soft surfboard to learn the basics on,
I am considering the following:
The CBC 8ft

Hold fast 8ft mini mal

Greco 8ft

Or Redback revolution

If you are or know a Costco member then get a wave storm 8ft board. I believe they are available in the UK for £100 although appear to be out of stock online. In fact joining up and buying one is probably cheaper than the ones you have elected

Otherwise I wouldn't get the second one you list (hold fast) because it doesn't have stringers and looks like it will get spongy and soft; but the others all look fine. Red back is probably the 'best' but it's also the most expensive and the differences may not be be too noticeable

I haven't surfed any of them, just going by their web description
