Getting into short boarding

Postby Kaimanza » Sun May 08, 2016 4:38 am

Hello, i have been surfing a 8ft wavestorm board and ready to start short boarding, or at lease making my way down. I found two boards on Craigslist, one is 7ft by 21 by 3 and the other one is 6"3 by 20 1/2 by 2 3/4. I was wonder which is a better choice? Also im around 115lb. And have been surfing for a month and i learn very fast.
Thanks.

Go right ahead , why not read through all the reasons we suggest that newbies coming off soft board are advised the go longer first! Two months and you think you are a fast learner. Lots more to learn , you are still in the white water of your learning!

The 7ft absolutely. Or even a 7ft6; although you are light so 7ft might just be ok

Nothing that starts with a 6
