At your age you are able to adapt quickly , the best of the boards is the 7'2" Torq board , good reviews by the forum guys who ride them. The BIC egg board has soft fins and I think it's only quality is durability , the BIc 7'6" is another good choice and will serve you well as being strong and durable. Any of the boards will be a little capable in catching waves but better for riding.

Choose between the Torq and the 7'6" minimal go surf and have fun!

I have myself a 7'3'' bic minimal, is the board i learned to surf and still currently surf until my new board arrives :D , its fun, easy and durable i think is this is the most important of it. Because i had some nasty wipeouts with big waves and if it wasnt a bic i guess would be broken as a beginner be ready for a lot of fails, you know sometimes is good to have a board that you know will stay intact as you risk a bit more. Also the board looks better in reality than in those photos, with your weight it will float a lot you can ride white water and very small green waves the same i can and im 70kg.

I'm all for the torq 7'2. Probably as strong as the bic but way better future performance and about as good ease of paddling etc. plus they look
Better and more people want them if u ever want to sell it :)
