From Wavestorm to this Craigslist Funboard?

I'm looking for a funboard to use on smaller days, and to move onto from my Wavestorm that I've been using for a few months, and I found one for about $300 on Craigslist.

It's a Froghouse (based in Newport Beach, CA) board and its dimensions are 7'2 x 21" x 2 11/16" and I'm 5'9, 150 lbs.

I typically go to beach breaks and the waves haven't been too big or anything (typically 1-3 ft.).




According to the seller, it is "like brand new, no dents, no dings" so it seems pretty solid for the price. What do you guys think? Also, it is approaching wintertime, so would this board work fine for larger swells?

Looks like a good size to try next. Ask to have the wax removed to check for surface cracks.
