Surfing Waves

Hey-- I'm a new surfer looking to get my first board. I'm female, 5'1", 110 lbs and fit/athletic. I'll be surfing a few times a week in the northeast USA, rockaways and Montauk.

I'm trying to decide between the Bic 7'3" Mini Malibu Wahine and the Greco 7' The Light board. Here's more info about them:

Any recommendations on which board I should go for? And thanks for the advice

Have you thought about a secondhand board to begin with javart? Way cheaper and it's the board you'll be doing all your 'training wheels' stuff on anyway. Just a thought.
