Surfing Waves

Hello surfers!

Have surfed about 8 times now at a "big surfboard" . The boards begins to get a bit " boring " and want something more exciting and playful. Would have been nice if you could help me with the selection of surfboards .

Eight times is not much to be judging your surf knowledge upon and to be bored already.

First set of question, how old are you where do you surf, important questions next, how tall are you and how much do you weigh ? Are you male or female?

I moved your post to surfboard advice, and that are threads would help you a lot if you read them.

If you have only surfed eight times going shorter or onto a performance board will exchange boredom for frustration.

Big boards can ridden at all sorts of skill levels on waves of most types!

I suspect in eight surfs you have probably just ridden the white water straight to shore, there is much more to surfing than that.

You can learn to surf any board if you are determined to. At 8 times surfing not sure if a board change would do anything good for you. I think often people have the idea that a new board will make them a better surfer and some times that is true but often it isn't. If you want advice from us then it would help to know exactly how long was the board you were riding and what kind of waves you are riding and how old you are and how good shape you are in.
