First Board NJ

I live in South Jersey and this summer I am going to have my license, so I will be making trips to Long Beach Island at least once a week. I have ridden friends' boards for the last two summers, and I have gotten the basics down. I've ridden mid 6' boards and had a little trouble with them, but the bigger boards were starting to get boring. The waves are decent in LBI. Most of the time I've been there waves have gotten up to at least 3 feet high (Sometimes bigger).
Now that I'm going to be going down more often I wanna stop bumming boards and get my own, but I'm not exactly sure what to get. I'm 6'0" 155lbs, but I'm still growing a lot, so I want a board I'd be able to grow into a little maybe. I'll probably max out at 6'2"-3" and 180 or 190. I'm looking for a board that won't be too easy, and that I'll actually be able to turn on, not like some of the longboards I have ridden where the only option was straight.
Thanks. And if anyone locally has a board around these specs, I'd definately be interested in it. Thanks.

Could anyone respond. I know you can't prescribe an exact board and I have to pick my own thing, but any even basic suggestions?
