hey guys im 17 from so cal. ive been surfing for about 6 years or so. caught my first waves on longboard old mans (san onofre) and doheny (dana point) ive had many boards since then but i just started riding a 5'8" richenburg. thruster fish tail.
i surf all over the place but ususally go to newport (32nd st) sometimes the pier, trestles, old mans, and HB sometimes. Im actually here because i recently got a board from a family friend. an old one. robert august 6'5" single fin fish. no signature or date or anything on the board. has a few dings but they are repairable. it was laying against a tree for a couple years. i finally talked the guy into letting me take it home and give it some love. cleaned all the dirty wax/tree sap. dings are curing right now. can anybody tell me anything about this?

Shakeejake this is easy to advise on go straight to Robert August himself in California, look along the string see if you can a number or something penciled in, it will probably be underneath near the fin.
It could well match Roberts stock book and clue you right in.
Nice Retro recovery and welcome/ :D
