Hey guys.

So Im looking to buy a new surfboard. I'm definitely still a beginner but ive ridden my fair share of waves. I got a shortboard but it was way too drastic a transition so Im looking for a middle ground. I recently saw this on craigslist and am interested but wanna check with experts first before i buy it. it has several hairline cracks that seem fine but I could be wrong. It also has a small hole.[img][img][img][/img][/img][/img] Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

An easy but necessary fix on the hole. You can go Solar resin or get it professionally fixed.
look to the foam under the cracks and hole see if there is any yellowing or going brown this would equal water damage. Check along the stringer to see if the foam has shrunk below stringer level.
The cracks near the nose are flex marks ( which are quite common in lightly glassed boards).
So make a good check of the rails to see if there are any dents/ creases or cracks into the overlap of the glass on the rails.
This is important!
If there is this where the board can break as they are acquired weak spots.
There are likely to be pressure dents but what you show us seems fairly free of them .
Could be a good buy??
