fish for 170 lbs?

I am interested in a small-wave board but not too keen on getting a longboard.
I kinda like the fishes I see here at Jenness.
I've been on a BIC funboard for a year now, and looking for something new.
I was looking at the BIC fish because I wouldn't have to worry much about it getting dinged.
But I think they only come in 5'10" and I'm a bit heavy for that right now (woaaa, woaaa)
Any suggestions? Never been on a fish before.

Hi Pmcaero,
There are a wide range of fish to use for your size probably something from about 6'4'' to 7'0."
Maybe a 7S Superfish II: http://www.surfindustries.com/surfboard ... ish_ll.php.

Good-luck!

Yeah, you'll need something a bit longer than that. There are plenty of epoxy fishes out there in the 6'6 range so go for one of them. They're not quite as durable the BICs, but still much stronger than a standard fibreglass board.

Something like this maybe:
