First board Question... (Again)

Postby Pat » Wed Sep 15, 2004 6:46 pm

Hi Peeps,

Since i'm starting to surf this month (i've already surfed before) and i want to buy myself a good board.

I was thinking of a Mini Mal/Longboard an 8'6 or something like that...

i Weigh around 75KG (that's like i think 165 lbs) and i'm around 1.87M (that's around 6'4 i think)

Anyway... i was thinking of one of these boards:

NSP 8'6 Southpoint
NSP 9'2 Southpoint
Bic 9'0
Bic 8'4

But are those Bics REALLY heavy? Cause i think that would really suck... That NSP 8'6 looks sweeet... (blue flowers though... but Wax is gonna cover that :))

I already skimboard on a Foam board (Eden 136 Pro S-Glass, similar to a Vic Poly vac large i think :)) So i have some board control...

any sugestions?
