Which board is for me?

I started surfing last summer in Cornwall and Im going back again this summer, I loved surfing and wish I could do it everyday. I live to far to do it often but if I get myself a board my dad says he will drive me surfing most weekends. Im 5"7 and im quite light I need a beginners board but theres so many, wat size should i go for? what weight? any ideas,
