need some advice

i been riding a 7,0 fun shape for awhile and i want to get a shorter board,
how short do u think i should get, i am 5-5, 115pounds, i don't have the best upper strength , the waves are small, like waist high,

get a 5-11. or just get a 5'3 pig fush.

Yeah, I agree with Jethro. Any board that's a hybrid fish design should work good in smaller waves. The extra width and thickness make it float better than regular short boards. I've got an older hybrid fish design by Downing, and it seems to catch waves almost as good as a fun board. Most of these boards are twin fin setups and can be real loose and zippy if they dont have a place to mount a third trailing fin. So if you decide to get one you may want to make sure you can add a trailing fin for extra stability.
