Something in the 6 ft range is probably right for you in 1-2 m surf, you need to take into account width and thickness too, these are factors that a lot of people forget. The shorter the board the thicker or wider you might want to go to keep up bouyancy when paddaling.

Yeah, the measurments you give there should give you a nice shorter board which you will find wa more manouvarable but there is plenty of width and thikness for stability and bouyancy for easy paddaling and wavw catching.

I was thinking really short like 5'10 or 6'2 with those dimesions.
19 and 2 or 2.5 inches thick.
