Donald Takayama Mid length best choice?

Postby Cesarsurfer » Sat Feb 06, 2021 7:06 pm

Hi all,
Im looking for a mid length Old style Board.
I normally ride a DT 4 9'2 Takayama, or a 9'6 Mc Tavish (Woody) but want to step a little down, keeping as much as possible the paddle power and stability.
Im thinking in Takayamas Howard Special Mini , Flo Egg or Stone Steps 2.
Whic you think should be best of the 3?

Also, For the Takayamas i have to wait months, and in my location, someone is offering me a Modern Black Fish in a very good price... could be an option until the DT arrives... What you think about that modern boards? they are worth it?

Thanks

Worth it in what way ? The price ? How much is the person going to sell it to you for ?

Of the three DT mid-lengths, I like the shape of the Howard Special Mini compared to the other two.
