Anyone here witht a Catch surf board?

Postby Bobes » Sat Sep 14, 2019 9:49 am

I´ve bought a brand new catch surf odysea skipper 6´6´´ and it arrived on the post yesterday.

It´s in perfect condition, no visual damage. But I found it unusually heavy so I bought a weighing scale and guess what? It weighs 4.81kg / 10.6lb.

¿Is this normal?

It´s way heavier than any standard PU or Epoxy boards. I´ve written to manufacturer to confirm if this is okay but they havent replied yet and I wonder if anyone in here owns a similar one.

Wait till you get a gash and it fills in with water, then it’ll get REALLY heavy. Good thing you measured the weight before hand, then you’ll know if you got a leak.
