Ah, thank you everyone! I have a wetsuit nailed down and I'll plan to buy both a 7-foot foamie to get started on and a 6'6 hard top for a bit later on. Thanks for everyone's input and expertise, I don't think it'd be so clear to me now if I hadn't posted this all!
