mushy high wind swell in Denmark surfboard option.

I am waiting for my third child and I can see all my surf glory washed away. A few months ago, in mid Danish winter, the local surf schizo drive me for a surf something. It was an incredible experience, winds where 40km ore more, almost didn't manage to carrie my board to the beach. At some point the wind went down and this is when they surf .??? yes it is. I think the highest bomb was 1 feet. With help of a massive board I surfed fairly many of this incredibly mushy messy beach brake waves. I think waves here are all from high winds, you surf when the wind drops a bit in the evenings, they are from 1 to 3 feet.

I need a board that pack a lot of volume, wide and short. it needs to turn!!!! Does any one knows what model ore brand has anything like this. Im from argentina and regularly surf in Morocco. This is a life crisis thanks

Wow you couldn't have two different climates to surf in?
I am assuming that it is you having the baby? Yes?

What level was your averageme surfing at..your Argentine board, what was that like? Morrocan one too?
If you were making reasonable turn on those I would suggest something of similar sizes but maybe a little wider and thicker to give more paddling power in mush. Inwill wait to hear what you were riding in the warmer better surf zones first.
Please do not think too much about the shorter options, you need to be the one who has the skills to turn.
Understand about the winds, add more information about your realistic level of surfing and we will offer what we think will help you the most!
Cheers Jaffa :D

Thanks Jaffa.

Definitely looking for a board that pack a lot of volume. Last season I being surfing the go fish. I can say that turned very quick for me and that was a handicap that I am willing to take for progress. Im 1.83 and surf regular in 6 / 6.1 but the go fish its a 5.10 35 litters. My Argentinean board was a round tale 39 in the volume. average surfer here depending my emotions any given day. . ))

I think for this waves that has "so little" push cant surf any less than a very wide board 45 litters but I haven't seen any brand that will pack that much volume in a small board. I dont really wish a mid size. a Simons maybe. waves are only 1 feet ore 1 feet plus.

you can always get a board custom made for you
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Even if it has mainly very weak windswell, there are lots of shortboarders in the North Sea, especially in "Cold Hawaii" in the Northwest of DK, which often gets some softened remainders of real swell via Norway/Scotland. But you need to have strong paddling and a very fast popup. Some breaks at some spots are better suited for longer boards like Thyboron.

Where do you surf and what are other people at your spot surfing?

I would not go out at 40km Wind. It will never be good, even if it creates waves. You need to pick your days. And pick the brains of some locals -they will have good ideas which break willl work under which conditions.

I am sure there are shapers in DK that can make a board suited to you and your home spot, probably cheaper than any of-the-shelf boards.

I look forward to being very close to DK in 4 weeks for a week (Sylt)

A board that pops up on my advertising ‘feed’ is the modern high line shortboard - this could be a reasonable choice (knowing nothing about it other than the advertising). But there are a fair few high vol short boards, starting with the hypto krypto and some of the FireWires
