Because some people don't know how to leave a well designed board alone and makes thing more complicated by adding an extra set of fins.

But again, are you talking about a "real" Mini-Simmons or just a wide squared tailed egg ?
Do you understand the bottom contours that distinguish it as a Mini-Simmons ?
What happened to the Lost Bean Bag or Surftech Cuda fish you were interested in ?

A real mini Simmons. As to the other boards I'm just looking around and researching about different boards before i decide what i would want to get. By the bottom contours do you mean the bellied bottom which usually has a vee out to the tail ?

If it has Vee out the tail, then it ain't a "real" Mini-Simmons. It should have Roll to single concave, original Simmons also had slight bevel to the rail on the bottom. Who is the shaper and what brand name ?
