Should I Fix This Crack?

Hey I went surfing today and board flung up and hit me in the head, this was the result. Should I fix it or should be right? And if so is it easy to do it by myself or take it to someone?? Yes that is hair in there hahaha don't know how

Where is the photo of the crack in the head?

There are some knowledgable repairers who hopefully will comment; my intial thought is sand it down and whack some fibreglass sheets over the top (with resin etc). Fairly easy - but you can always get it done in a shop

Definitely fix it. If optics are not important, it is easy do do it yourselves.

that crack is not watertight so your board will absorb water if you use it in that condition. Definitely need to fix it. Hah! funny it grabbed some hair. There are videos to watch on the internet. It's pretty simple but first you need to know what kind of resin. If you do it the result will look like a patch. Someone who is good will make it very difficult to see any difference from the rest of the board

I did a patch on my board and it didn't even look like a patch. It looked like crystallized fungus. Not a big deal, since the board was pretty ugly to start with, but if you can afford 30 or 60 bucks or whatever they'll charge, and don't mind waiting the week for the repair, you'll have something no one will even be able to see.

haahha aye! I took it to the shop I got it from and he said he might be able to fix it for free, fingers crossed
