Will I notice a difference in buckled board?

I recently had my 6'1 Lost V3 Rocket buckled about 1.5 ft back from the nose; not a clean break but almost all the way through the foam. I had it repaired by my usual guy and he placed a carbon strip across it to reinforce. I'm not sure he was able to 100% recover the rocker as it looks a tiny bit off.

Will I notice a difference in performance if I'm still a progressing beginner? I've been surfing for a little under two years and can ride down the line / bottom turn. Is the board worth keeping or should I try to sell it for cheap?

Just try it and see what it surfs like. I have had friends who liked their boards better after breaking them in two and getting them patched. So it will be heavier but if that will be good or bad for you remains to be seen.

Yeah I've actually heard that too, I'm more concerned about the rocker though. Likely I can't tell the difference.

Technically you don't even need the nose, look at the Tomo boards. There's guys on the Westside of Oahu, nose duct taped on, one of three fins missing, tail cracked off and they still rip.
Keep it cause you never know when you'll need a back up board. And who wants to by a broken-repaired board unless it's dirt cheap. Just keep riding it.
