Happy to help! Only one question how much experience do you have? Weight and height great for short.
Oops second question where do you plan to surf. The nature of the waves come into it too :!:

Since you have the board there can be only one answer, go surf the board  I know zilch about Florida surf and I still don't know about how experienced you are so you are now about to find out.
We have Humpbacks, Southern Rights and Minke's and Orcas hope you have a whale of a time on your new board

Floridas surf can get pretty choppy on somedays but other days its like Cali except on the East Coast. Thats how it was for me at least. I don't mean to be taking over the mighty Jaffa's question  , but hes right how much experience do you have, if you are just starting out I would suggest a long board or a fun board. Since Florida has such an unpredictable surf the long board might be your best bet as a beginner, but if you are experienced than go for it and only the board and your abilities will tell.
