Help Choosing a Surfboard

Hi all,i wonder if you can help i am a beginner surfer and am thinking of buying a mini mall surfboard but not sure which boards are good and also what size!I am 6ft tall and 10 stone..i really want to get a good board to progress on and have for a long time..thanks

you should select a 9-foot longboard.

hey thanks i definatly will get a longer board to start with.

You should start on a board thats at least 8' to 9'. That will help give you plenty of stability, and you will be able to catch waves pretty easy. NEVER start on a shortboard. You will only get frustrated, and give up.
