Hi
Ime new to this fourum , ime a kiteboarder and a longboarder.
I go surfing with my freind twice a year but i enjoy it so much i would like to get my own board , the thing is what board would be best for me, ive seen a very nice 5,6 Fish on ebay but i was wondering if i could get some advice from people who know what there doing :lol: i am 6 foot and 12 stone (if that helps)

That's impressive.
If I sat down and thought about it for an hour or two, I still wouldnt be able to think of a more unsuitable board.

Yep i would have to agree. If you are not gonna surf very often then it would be alot better to get something big and floaty. You will have more fun when you do go out.

An hour or two? A minute or two. From longboard to small fish with only 2 go-outs a year? I will definitely make a cool wall decoration...

you said you were a longboarder, why would you get a shortboard?.. go for a 6' 7'' or longer
