Surfing Waves

Hi, I'm a 41 year old belgian, surfing for 5 years. Have been dreaming about surfing since I was a kid, woman wouldn't let me. Water is my element. Lived in Australia, now living in South West Portugal. Reading this forum since a while now.

Hi Cooktardo, good place to start , there are some areas of gentler surf there. Do you still have woman resistance? or did that prompt the move to,Algarve.
Since it seems like there is no hinderance to,your surfing, we need to know your height weight and I am assuming little to no experience !
This is so we can recommend a board.
Longer is better for starters and we can suggest soft or hard, there is a very experienced crew ready to,advise you!
