Indroducing myself

Hey!
Im 16, 5’8 tall for 57kg, i live in paris (france) and im surfing for 2 years most of the time in « oleron » island, its an island on the atlantic coasts of france where you can find some nice beachbreaks. I would say that my level is between beginner and intermediate, i can take 4-5 feet tall waves, backside and frontside, bottom turn and make some small turns to take speed.
Most of the time im surfing in the summer holiday but sometimes also in april/september. Living in paris means that i only surf for around 6 weeks a year, so i try to surf everydays and even twice a day when i can. For now im riding a 7’ egg foamie which is nice for small waves but struggles in bigger waves because of its lack of rocker (the board is almost completely flat so i have to put most of my weight on the back foot to avoid the nose to dive).
Anyways i hope that i will find (and perhaps give, when the time will come) some help and advices in this forum, and i hope my english wont be a problem.
I didnt want to make such a long introduction but it ended up like this lol not my fault

Hello Pioupouley, nice to meet you. I'm sure you have something useful to say as you are more skilled than many here on the forum

Bonjour Pioupouley....Welcome...your English is perfectly understandable. Vous profiterez de la practique. (J'ai un cours en Français chaque semaine...maintenant ceci est un petit peu de practique pour moi). As for surfing...it is true eh? The more you do it, the better...but for those of us who are not by the ocean year round, we have that on ramp when we return, and try to get out as much as possible, sometimes in conditions that are not ideal. Because even when it isn't good...it can still be great. Bienvenue...bon surf.
