Hi everyone,

My Name is Greg, 41 yo, 6'8 / 210 lbs.
I live in Belgium - 150 km from the sea unfortunately.
I surf mostly in Holland/Belgium as soon as we have some tiny swell.
I surf also 3 week/year in France (Lacanau).

My go to board is currenlty a NSP Endless E+ 11'. I'm looking for the next one, any advice is more than welcome.

Currently I would rate my skills around 2/10...
* I take off easy (who wouldn't on a 11' titanic ;-) )
* pop up is far from being esthetic but works every time
* I angle take off because my bottom turn is weak/slow.
* trim down the line , shuffling back and forth .
* sometimes I end up on the nose.... probably because the board is so huge that it can't be lifted ;-)
* I surf only front side

My enthusiasm for longboard surfing is inversely proportional to my skill level.

Here my quiver:

SUP :
    JP Fusion 10'8 * 34
    Gong NFA 11 * 32
Surf:
Gong ten blues 9.2 - 78L (sold it - it was too early for me)
NSP Endless E+ 11' - The first board on which I could take waves and trim down the line.

Skate:
Hamboard classic bamboo... so fun
Loaded banghra flex 1 - pure bliss as well...

Other toy:
Goofboard classic : so that I can feel like wingnut in my living room

I imagine an 11ft could be hard to deal with.

I would look at the Walden Mega Magic. The 9’6 is plenty big (106L!); potentially you could even go for the 9ft, although given your waves and size and skill the 9’6 is probably a better choice.

It’s a super easy surfing board - really wide and stable, catches waves like nothing else. I hate it when other people are surfing them around me, it’s like they are cheating

“My enthusiasm for longboard surfing is inversely proportional to my skill level.”

I think we were all at that exact point at one time or another! Welcome to the forum!
