Surfing Waves

Hey Guys,

right so i am 20 from the midlands and last year my family bought a static caravan in Rock, Cornwall. i started surfing in October last year and have been instantly hooked! i have self taught myself so far (lot to learn i know) using an old Zuma Jay sing fin 6,6. i surf everyday i'm in Cornwall but a few times at least a month!

what would anyone recommend for my next board as the one i have is about 25 years old and i'd like something a bit better. I've been thinking maybe a 7ft Minimal?

Hey dude, sorry I'm not the best to advise but what weight and height are you? The guys might help you out a bit better with that info. How you finding the 6'6?

that's pretty clear thinking and since you are surf that much , 7' to 7'6" should suit.
a bit a volume don't go too thin nor narrow suggest a rounded pin or squash tail , DO NOT be thinking fishy .
getting your next board wired willbe great fun and your surfing will jump ahead.

Oh and I've just got the 7'2 torq mod fun it's epoxy and I'm thrilled with it, also a squashed pin..it may not have much soul being mass produced but she's a beaut! have a look and see what you think..

There's roger cooper nearby and circle one if you want something a bit more home grown..I liked the 7'6 in the heritage series minimal on the circle one site.
