New-Old Guy from NC

I just signed up for a 3 day surf camp this summer on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am 41 years old and surfed for a summer when I was 18 but haven't since other some body boarding. I found this site while hunting for first time tips for older generation newbies. I can't wait to peruse the site and learn as much as I can before the camp begins in July.

Thanks all. Yea that thread hit me like a huge relief. I know some dudes who started later in life and they actually turned me on to the surf camp. They call it a camp but it is really just 3 days/3 lessons.
