Hi, im from argentina and recently discovered surfing through a friend and i totally fell in love with it.

I live 300 miles from the ocean but luckily i always went there on vacations and such because my parents have a house there. So know i find myself going once a month to stay all day at the beach and surf till my body tells me to go out. Actually im still learning so by surf i mean being able to follow the board through the wave without wiping out 300 times or have the board taken away from me by the wave. I also enjoy a lot learning how to wait and choosing the right wave for me, where to go in, paddle (which is very hard!) etc.

I have the luck to meet a lot of cool people who surf very well so far who helped a lot on getting started. Also every time i searched on the web for some extra tips and information always found the most useful advice here, so thats why i registered.

Well nothing more for now ill be posting noobish questions soon. :D

Finally i actually meant southsurfer with my username but i mispelled. Anyone knows if i can change it?

Hi Southsurfer, welcome to Surfing Waves!

I've changed your username for you, so you're good to post away.
Let's hear about the waves that Argentina has to offer.

The Argentina surf map is short on information and surf spots. If you have a little time please consider contributing and adding some information and well known surf spots.

Just checked, Miramar is where i go to surf! but it definetely lacks information because there is a very wide range of spots and certainly not all are for beginners, there are some sponsored surfers who came from there and they surf regularly over there. Also there are a couple of cities not listed, I will try to update it over time.
