hi everyone , i was born and raise in brooklyn , ny, and move to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in 2007 i use to surf on the surf on the rockaways in queens, in nyc which was long ago , the wave was not great for a guy who about 190 lbs with a 7.6 funboard they waves most of the time didnt have alot of energy and most of your ride was like 5 second long , anyway now i live in PR and only 10 minites from the beach, the waves here are awesome and the water is warm and clear, KELLY SLATER was on a beach about 5 miles from me where he won his 10th ASP title so you know if he was around the waves are good , you could see it on youtube, i have not sure for over 12 year because of upper back pain but i feel better and and want to go back to surfing , i still have my Gorden smith 7.6 funboard ,22 inch wide, 3 fins non removalbe, lol, i just need to get back in shape and im good to go, again hi all

Hi Rafael, welcome to Surfing Waves!
Thanks for your intro, I look forward to hearing all about how you get on. What are the waves like where you are at the moment?

Thanks!!, this morning the wave are about 1.4 m on some spots , right now you have to do your surfing mosty in the morning because of the trade winds that come in, on the afternoon, yesterday afternoon it was really blowing, .i live on the north part of island , most of the surfing on the island is in north and northwest , good infor if you are out here on the island is to go on the net and go to surfline.com give you cam and good reports.for anyone that is comming over to the island here a site with a good map on the surf spot in P.R.
