Surfing Waves

Hi, I'm from a snowboarding background and looking to get into this scene.
(figure finding waves is going to be easier then finding snow covered mountains!).

So, give me a shout if anyone is around my area for a few pointers on equipment, locations and local groups.

Oh, and if there are some local peeps, I can provide transport from me to wave as well
