Hi there all,

Well, what to say.. A wild one..
Seriously... used to surf when I was young but had to stop for an injury.. started a "big people job"lost myself..
Found myself a while ago.. started Wakeboarding.. and then came the plans.. Going to Bali in May to learn how to surf again..
But.. Just a question to all of you.. How many euhhhm... a bit older women OR men are just like me?? :unuts:

As a short haired latter day hippy who has is working the uphill battle on the side of life that is all down hill from here and has been over thirty for over thirty years.
WELCOME
There are plenty of children of the world on this site, enjoy both them and reconnecting in Bali :D

Hi FreeSpirit7373, welcome to Surfing Waves!

There are plenty of older surfers on the forum, have a look at the late in life beginners topic and set your mind at ease.
:-D

Yeah, I'm one of them :o)

Welcome Free spirit, I tried surfing for the first time as a 39 year old female and was immediately hooked. My enabler (surfing friend) and I do shiftwork which frees up weekdays for us and we have been getting out as often as we can over the past 2 years. We try to ignore the aches and believe it is keeping us young :o)
