Hey guys and gals,I am mikefed. Me and my wife are out here in Wichita,KS.,we moved out here for job reasons, long long story. Anyhow we are making plans to move back to the West Coast. I sure miss it. It's been years and I am very anxious to get out again. I have a simple stupid question. What is a "shoulder Popper"? I heard this term on the "Surf Punks ". I know I know stupid, but I got to know. Well so long for now. I will keep the update, when we get out of this hell.

Hi mikefed, welcome to Surfing Waves!

You'll definately get more waves on the West Coast :-D
The term you're probably after is shoulder hopper, which is a term for someone who keeps dropping in (taking a wave when another surfer has priority / up and riding)

Better get this added to our lingo section - https://surfing-waves.com/surf_talk1.htm#S
