Hi everyone

I'm Jack, 18, and live near Manchester in the UK, although I surf in South Wales every year. I've been surfing for about 4 years now and although I only get about 3 weeks in the water every year, I look forward to it every summer.

Welcome! 3 weeks each summer isn't bad. Isn't that about all you can do in the UK before the water gets too cold and you get frostbite?

Welcome Jack! 18, more independence, should be able to manage more than 3 weeks a year pretty soon mate. Keep an eye on the charts.

Jimi, we're just made of tougher stuff in this hemisphere. Nothing like surfing when you can't feel your feet.
