That would be me...I am starting to surf again after a 17 year hiatus, can't wait to get back into checking the morning surf reports, waxing the board, sand everywhere in my Jeep.

Just thought I'd say sup and glad to find a surf board

I definitely will ask for advice if thats ok..I'm digging the new spiritual awakening I am having with surfing again. I went out and flailed for a few hours last week..but I hope to get better. At least my Billabongs look cool...and I forgot to wear a rashguard shirt..I still have peppered tiddies from the rubbing.

Oh yeah..I am 45 and used to race jetskis instead of surf.

sup everyone.

just moved to FL from SC (south carolina...not socal). never lived close enough to the beach to get into surfing when i was in SC. i'm 10min from the beach now which is awesome. i started skimboarding as soon as i got down here because i was exposed to it when i was out in california (bay area) and though it was a whole lotta fun. i bought a 7'0'' fish tail fun shape soft rail kane garden shaped surf board when I got down here to FL and i've been doing my best to learn on it. i just want to get better as fast as possible so i'm trying to learn as much as i can every day even if it's just reading stuff on the internet...FL is flat a lot...gotta do something on those flat days :D

Hey there everyone, im hoping to get into surfing, right now Im a active rock climber which is easy to be when you spend all day selling equipment and then at night go to a rock gym where you get free membership
But im moving to daytona beach in a month or two where there arent many rocks but I guess I can get the same adrenaline rush just as well from the ocean waves. Now just to learn how to surf...
