21 and live in Southport, near Liverpool which has some sea twice a year and the rest of the time is mud flat central.

I just bought a board after years of body boarding.

well, I'm marcos... 22, livin in brussels (god knows why), did all my education in England, but originally I'm swiss. going to surf for the first time on thursday at a surf spot called surfers paradise on the belgian coast... can't wait! fav sports are tennis (federer is my hero), snowboarding and sailing. I get the feeling that surfing will be my favourite in a bit... I play the guitar, read a couple of books every now n again (on the road, and vernon god little are my recent favs).

this is definitely the best forum I know...

Im Sara (24) from Poole. Went surfing for the first time in Croyde in May (going back again this weekend) and have just bought my first board which I have tried a couple of times at Boscome. Rubbish at it but still loving trying.

Well hi everyone,nice to see that the cool people are connected all over the world, am a 25y chiky di , born to travel the world haven't leaved in the same contry for more than four years since I was 5.
Just left Australia (Melbourne) loved it heaps, (not far from a lot of nice surf spots and snow as well).
Landed in Paris somehow...originally from normandy, did south africa ,tunisia,sweden, reunion Island (mad surf everywere)and new caledonia............feeling so fleshin' lost in babylone.......NO ONE IN PARIS :?:
